If you're reading this, it likely means that you're not likely going to EF or that it's already past. Well, "Dance of the Jaguar" is now finished... well... almost... I think I'll still polish the lyrics, but that's a task for doing in the car on the way to EF.

I'm currently orchestrating "Move with the Herd". There's an unlimited amount of technical problems getting the computer to actually play the music, not to speak of getting any kind of nuances out of the electronic replicas of instruments. They're truly as recalcitrant as a "herd" of real musicians, all knowing that they are vastly more skilled than you, that they know much better how the music should be written and that they're only doing this for money, anyway.

Well, I suppose I'll get more skill with time.

I'm starting to wonder whether I'll ever get "Story of Old" finished, but there's always the time-tried "at-EF" composing method. Now that circumstances have led to that I won't have any other musicians for it, I won't have to synchronize with anyone, allowing for improvisation at the concert :).
